2018 was surely the year I discovered MY STYLE and the type of designs I wanted to push out. While I love ALL the work I produce, there are just some designs that are really close to my heart!!! Interaction with clients, followed up by the designing process to final completion of the cake (and of course the colour palette), greatly influenced my choices!! So let’s dive right in!!

The Hand painted Beauty

Kate And Ryan/November 2018

This hand painted beauty was truly a labour of love. This is a favorite because I had the opportunity to FINALLY paint flowers on a cake!! Paired with a blush lustered tier and gold leaf and you have a winner!! Beautiful fresh flowers were provide by Wildflowers Bahamas. Perfectly set among the greenery at the One and Only Ocean Club, the couples garden theme truly came to life!

The Simple Buttercream

I absolutely love this timeless design that was used in multiple weddings this year. A rustic finish adorned with beautifully styled floral is always an excellent choice for any wedding.

Tall & Embellished

This beauty reminded me of an extremely high end bejeweled dress, featuring lustered tiers and ‘gems’ molded from fondant. Indira was also such an amazing bride to work with! Fun story: Her engagement came about when she surprised her boyfriend (now husband) with a dinner featuring one of our cakes! Let us say she left the most surprised that night!

Ruffles & Lace

Anderson/Bain June 2018

Blush and silver, who knew they can pair so beautifully? A 5 tier beauty showcasing fluffy ruffles and delicate lace, this design was certainly one for the books.

Ocean Spray

Styled Shoot w/ Adriana Weddings

Photo: Stanlo Photography

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Adriana Weddings alongside Stanlo Photography, Five Seasons Bridal and Bahamas Fantasies for a pretty awesome styled shoot. This beauty reminded me of the ocean spray back home in Long Island. This design was simple, yet made a statement with a silver starfish as the focal point!

Dipped in Gold

This cake was surely a work of art, using the placement of gold to create beautiful movement and finished with sugar floral.

Watercolor & Texture

Another buttercream beauty showcasing a beautiful palette in an abstract finish, adorned with the prettiest roses and orchids!

Bare & Luxe

Semi naked tiers. A Gold Leaf Tier. Gold Drip. Orchids. Need I say more?

Wafer Flowers & Blue

Another dreamy bride, Nyrandra made my job soooo easy! She knew exactly what she wanted and trusted me! Each flower was handmade from wafer paper and accented with gold sugar leaves. They were then placed onto white tiers lightly dusted in blush and a navy blue tier which gave an amazing contrast!

Marble Dream

Ambrose & Alex

This was my final wedding of 2018. The colour palette, design, meeting with the couple EVERYTHING was amazing. The end result also came out pretty amazing. What do you think?
